Ali Asghari Adib

Ali received received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015. He then moved to the United States for graduate studies and got his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Ohio University where he investigated the interactions of nanoparticles with cell membrane models. The results of Ali’s masters work was published in, and was featured on the front cover of Environmental Science Nano journal. In August 2017, Ali joined Hoelzle Research Lab (HRL) and started his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University. At HRL, Ali was part of a team developing a novel endoscopic additive manufacturing tool for intracorporeal 3D bioprinting of tissue engineering scaffolds. Ali completed his PhD in 2022 with publications in Biofabrication, and IEEE Control System Letters. He joined RBG in September 2022 as a post doc and is working on developing a vascularized booster liver.
